As part of our series on learning how to draw for beginners, we explore how drawing with the left of our brain is different from drawing with the right side of our brain. Learning to draw can be quite difficult for beginners and in this easy tutorial you can learn how to improve your drawing skills. The exercise in this video is designed to demonstrate that difference in drawing and thinking so that we can practice moving from the left brain to the right brain. Learning to draw using the right side of your brain will not only help you to become a better artist but will also expand the way you see the world. In this short video, I explain the left brain’s preference for language and symbols and its conflict with the right brain. I also explain how this time-honoured technique teaches you how to draw from a completely different perspective - from the perspective of the right side of the brain.
